The Run/Walk, encourages children on the importance and value of community service, while introducing and educating them to a new culture in hopes of broadening their awareness and appreciation of our global community.

SSHF's Celebrity Read Aloud Tour(TM) and Defending Literacy Tour(TM): Over 14.5 million dollars in New Books doanted!: the Stephanie Starks HOPE Foundation (SSHF), was established to promote reading and literacy among all children. Our Celebrity Read Aloud and Defending Literacy Tours(TM) challenges children in elementary, middle and high school to take time out to read while encouraging families and adults to read regularly with young children.
