Dear Friends and Family:
We're back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, we have been back in Haiti since 4 January,
but Carol smashed her hand in the rolling gate into
our home and was unable to prepare the journal last
week, not that Ron couldn't do it himself but he was
taking care of her.
Life in the country of Haiti continues fairly normally,
but the neighborhood around divisional headquarters
remains difficult and the road in front of the property
closed. We have been totally without electrical power
(I almost said without power, but that is not true -
God is sustaining the Haitian officers with amazing
grace), telephone and internet this week and it doesn't
look all that good for the beginning of next week. So
if you need something from us please be patient.
Disaster relief in Haiti continues as we and the rest
of the world watch in disbelief at what has and is happening
in Southeast Asia.
It will take some time for us to catch up, but we are
working on it.
